WHAT WE DO

COMMUNICATION

RetirementWise specializes in communication to assist funds, trustees and employers in educating members and employees regarding their fund benefits and preparing them for their retirement.

Funds should strive to have financially independent members at retirement.

FUND INFORMATION

SOUND FINANCIAL DECISIONS

Members have a right to information regarding their retirement fund benefits, when they want it
and in the format they prefer. If members are informed they are more likely to make sound financial decisions at retirement minimising the risk for trustees.

FUND IDENTITY

Members need to identify with their Fund, in order for this to happen the Fund must have its own identity. We believe that creating a strong visual identity for a fund creates the foundations for a trust relationship. Without trust – communication is not possible.

Where trust is lacking members will exhibit behaviour where communication material is not read, content not believed and members will listen to “wrong information about the Fund” from other sources such as trade unions, line managers or informal leaders.
